    The team undertook the current project - an intercountry, cross-sectional study - to investigate factors associated with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection among non-injecting cocaine users (NICUs) and to compare practices associated with HCV and HIV infection.

    Students who engage in oral sex within the first two years of high school are much more likely than those who do not to report having vaginal intercourse by the end of 11th grade, a new study suggests.

    Although effective treatments of the HIV infection have been discovered, it is indispensable to start the treatments early, under strict and regular medical control. This is practically impossible to achieve in the concerned countries, as in most parts of Latin America.
